Welcome To Officers' Association Durgapur Steel Plant

Officers’ Association, Durgapur Steel Plant was formed in the year 1963 - 64 at Durgapur Steel Plant with the executives working in Durgapur Steel Plant of erstwhile Hindustan Steel. Shri. J C Bajaj was elected as the first President of OADSP and Shri. R B Ganguly, was elected as the first General Secretary of OADSP.

Presently, the office bearers of OADSP are Shri. Tamal Bhattacharjee- President; Shri. Sanjay Arya,'General Secretary; Shri. Tapas Kumar Mandal-Vice President; Shri. Nirupam Nath-Vice President ,Shri Shakti Prasad Behera- Deputy General Secretary and Shri. Sanuj Kumar Mittal-Treasurer.

The Association is instrumental since inception in resolving the various issues faced by the executives of Durgapur Steel Plant. OADSP has been very successful in bringing fruitful results after many historic fights, which the executive fraternity are enjoying today. Officers’ Association Durgapur Steel Plant is very happy and proud of the footmarks of so many years in providing service to the Executives Durgapur Steel Plant. The journey of struggle, hard ships, tough negotiations, and executive welfare measures in past has yielded this association a “brand image” and “glory” that can never fade! It is now for each one of the OADSP members to salute and celebrate the long legacy of this association.
